My Work
Work From Home
This interactive 3D piece focuses on the negative perception of stay-at-home-moms in the United States and actively promotes respect.
Based on a simple sliding mechanism, this piece is inclusive and interactive. Each slider represents the stereotype when it covers the resume and disregards the full picture of life, and the reality when it is pushed aside.
Each resume also includes a mirror where the name of the applicant typically is. This allows the viewer to fully place themselves in the shoes of each individual.
Based on primary research and surveys, the resumes each show a person in a particular situation. The resumes become progressively more structured as the life paths become more traditionally linear.
